The Journal for Halal Quality and Certification aims to enhance the scientific framework for collaboration in halal product production and certification. The scientific and social significance of the Journal for Halal Quality and Certification is reflected in its role in collecting, presenting, and promoting scientific, professional, and practical achievements in both halal quality certification and the production and processing of halal products. At the same time, the Journal seeks to strengthen connections between the academic community, agricultural producers, the food and pharmaceutical industries, and state institutions. By sharing knowledge and experiences in the field of halal quality, the Journal aspires to contribute to the advancement of halal product quality and certification procedures.
Indirectly, halal quality enhances production and economic growth, thereby contributing to the global improvement of people's quality of life. Strengthening this impact requires understanding and cooperation among relevant stakeholders worldwide in addressing and solving emerging challenges. The Journal for Halal Quality and Certification is designed to meet the needs of academia, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and both government and private sector agencies by providing a platform to explore and share knowledge and experiences on current and future issues in halal quality science. The members of the Scientific Council, Scientific Board, and Editorial Board are distinguished scientists and professors with extensive knowledge and experience in evaluating scientific and professional works, particularly in the theory and practice of halal quality.

Furthermore, the Journal aims to integrate halal studies with other disciplines, including theology, food technology, agronomy, veterinary science, medicine, pharmacy, economics, law, and more. The Agency for Halal Quality Certification is the publisher of the Journal, with co-publishers including the Faculty of Islamic Studies, the Faculty of Technology Tuzla, and the Faculty of Food Technology Osijek.
