Plagiarism Policy

Focus and Scope

JFATWA is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing practices. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to the guidelines outlined in this plagiarism policy to maintain the integrity and credibility of the journal:

Plagiarism and Self-Plagiarism: Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not allowed in JFATWA. Authors must ensure that their submissions are original and properly cited. Any form of plagiarism will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript.
Originality of Work: Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts present entirely original work. If authors have used the work or words of others, proper citation or quotation must be provided. Failure to acknowledge the contributions of others will be considered a breach of academic integrity.
Multiple Submissions: Authors are discouraged from simultaneously submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals. It is considered unethical and inappropriate to publish manuscripts that cover essentially the same research in multiple journals or primary publications. Such actions may result in the rejection of the manuscript.
Proper Acknowledgment: Authors must give proper acknowledgment to the work of others. Citations should be provided for publications that have influenced the reported work. Failure to cite relevant sources may be considered plagiarism.

Focus and Scope

Editorial Team Verification: The Editorial Team will review each manuscript for proper citation and quotation. This includes verifying that all sources are appropriately cited and quoted according to academic standards.

Plagiarism Detection: Manuscripts will undergo plagiarism detection using Turnitin software. If the software detects a plagiarism indication of more than 20%, the manuscript will be rejected immediately. Authors will be notified of the reasons for rejection, and further action may be taken as necessary.
